What are the trading hours for the forex system?

The forex network is up and running every week from Sunday 5PM EST till Friday 5PM EST.

How do I open a trading account?

What is the minimum deposit to open a regular forex account and what are the fees and/or commissions?

The minimum deposit is $2,500 to open a standard account and $250 to open a mini account. There are no fees or commissions charged (Forex Trading USA is compensated through the bid/ask spread). All our customers get free training from us either live through the Internet or via our trading ebooks.

What are the margin requirements for forex trading?

For standard accounts, the margin requirement is 1% (US$1,000 on a trade size of US$100,000); in other words, 100 to 1. For mini accounts, the margin requirement 0.5% (US$50 on a trade size of US$10,000). Trading on margin magnifies trading gains and losses.

Are the prices real-time and can they be traded on?

All prices are real-time and can be traded on.

What types of orders are available via the FX trading platform?

Market, Stop, Limit, and Trailing Stop orders are available and can be modified until they are executed.

Can I trade my forex account from any computer?

Yes. All you need is to install our online forex trading platform on a computer with an internet connection.

What spreads will I see when trading a Live account?*

You will see small forex spreads of 3 to 5 pips all the time.

What prices can I trade on?

Every price on the screen is available to everybody.

How long will it take to fill my forex orders?

Forex orders are filled automatically by the trading system. Normally, market orders are filled virtually instantaneously. However, the length of this period can be affected by many factors, including the speed of your Internet connection and general performance of your trading workstation.

What is the minimum size trade?

At the moment, the minimum size trade is $100,000 per lot for standard accounts and $10,000 per lot for mini accounts.

Do you perform margin calls?

No.

How can I follow my forex account?

The forex trading platform allows you to see the value of your open position(s) and watch your account equity change with the market in real time. You can also review your open positions and past account history 24 hours a day.

Can I place orders over the phone?

Yes. Trading currencies over the phone is available 24 hours from Sunday 5pm ET to Friday 5pm ET through our forex trade desk.

Are there any account inactivity fees?

No. There are no fees charged if a customer does not trade for a period of time.
